Programs.

and review by a three-member na-
tional commission.

the local preschool program was or-
ganized by interested ladies of First
United Methodist Church in 1969
The ladies felt the community need-
ed a program for preschool children,

will appear in the cookbook. Space limitations may not permit the
use of all recipes submitted.
Recipes may be mailed to Joann Gloff, auxiliary president, 1403
West Pecan St., Clifton, within the coming week. The cookbook com-
mittee requests that each entry be printed or typed and contain the
person's name, aa the individual would like it to appear, as well as
a telephone number, should questions arise.
Both old and new recipes in any category will be welcomed. Some
recipes from auxiliary past tasting bees may also be included.
The auxiliary committee hopes to have the cookbook ready for sale
before Christmas, in time for gift giving. Auxiliary members will
be selling coupons at $10 each to reserve copies of the book ahead
of time. More information is available from Mary Jo Maddux. Con-
nie Lundberg, and Rosie Scaff.
All proceeds will go to the auxiliary to further the Gppdall Witcher
Hospital Foundation, a community hospital serving all of Bosque
County.

The Preschool Parents Association
supported the process by paying fees
relating to accreditation.
Preschool instructors are Carol
Ann Pitts, Lynda Herzog, Linda
Stauffer, Phyllis Turner, and Glor-
ia Hoel, who also serves as
preschool director.
The FUMC Preschool offers class-
es for children ages 2 to 4, with two-
year-olds attending one day each
week; three-year-olds attending on
Tuesday and Thursday, and four
year-olds attending Monday, Wed
nesday, and Friday, from 8:30 to
11:30 a.m.
There are still openings for the
next session, which begins Tuesday,
