people were injured
A 1993 Fort Thundcrbtrd dnven
by John Earl Williams. 32. of Na-
’togdoches was northbound on U.S.
59, 12 miles south of Corrigan
when the driver reportedly fell
asleep, according to Texas Highway
Patrol Trooper Glen Goodwin. The
car went of the road to the right,
struck a metal framework made of
*“T>ipe and damaged a fence, coming
to rest in a ditch on the southbound
gude of the highway. ■
I* Williams and a passenger in the
car, 34-year-old Darla M Williams,
were taken by ambulance to Memo-
rial Medical Center, Lufkin, with
non-incapacitating injuries
No charges were filed in connec-
tion with the accident, which oc-
curred at 12:20 a.m

a three-vehicle accident at 11:55
am Saturday on U.S. 190, 4.9
miles west of Livingston.

miles east of Livingston
A 1999 Ford Escort driven by a
16-year-old female from Livingston
was turning north onto Lincoln
Wiggins Rond from Old Barney nil
collided with a 1991 Chevrolet
pickup truck driven by Scott Quin-
lan, 20. of Livingston, according io
Evans.
The 16-year-old, who was listed
as having sustained possible inju-
ries but was not transported by atn
bulance, was cited for failure to
yield right-of-way from an open in
