for Bosque County to be included in the District (December2000).
• Public educational meetings, open to all, were held featuring
knowledgeable, experienced speakers from the TNRCC, Texas
Association of Groundwater Districts, Texas Agricultural Exten-
sion Service, and HDR Engineering, who has done extensive moni-
toring of our aquifers (April 28 & 25,2002).

Groundwater Conservation Districts have been around since
the lthins. This power has NEVER been used (Steve Musick
TNRCC Legal Department April 18. 2002).
METERS ON ALL WELLS:
A groundwater conserx ation district... MAY NOT require a per
mi! tor a well list'd for domestic purposes or for providing water
to livestock on land larger than 10 acres or on wells incapable of
producing more than 25.000 gallons of groundwater per day
(Texas Water Code. Chapter 36.117).
