Police
5/31-A complainant at Winns
Variety Store on South Main told
officers that two females entered
the store and that one of them
rolled up two bath towels, valued
at $7, and left the store without
paying for them.
5/31—A complainant in the
600 block of Southwest 3rd
Street told police that a person
asked him to cash a check at the
business where the complainant
worked.
The complainant then said he
asked the customer to sign the
back of the check and the
customer threatened to do bodily
harm to the complainant.
6/1—A complainant in the 900
block of Southwest 7th Street
told police that a person or
persons unknown had written
obscenities on the side of his
vehicle, which was parked on the
south side of his residence.
Another complainant in the
800 block of South Circle Drive
told police a similar incident
occurred to their vehicle, which
was parked on the east side of
their home.
6/1-A complainant in the 600
block of Southwest Avenue J told
police that a person or persons
unknown had taken tools from a
toolbox in his pickup.
Total value of the missing
tools was estimated at $764.
6/1-A complainant in the 300
block of Southwest Avenue J told
police that a person or persons
unknown entered her unlocked
vehicle and had taken a stereo
and speakers, valued at $200.
The complainant al«o
mentioned that the dash on the
vehicle was damaged as a result
of the burglary .
6/2-While on routine patrol,
police noticed a vehicle weaving
erratically in the 100 block of
Southwest Avenue L.
The driver was stopped and
found to be intoxicated. Jesus
Ontiveros. 27, of 507 NW Ave.
G, was arrested by officers for
driving while intoxicated.

5/25-At 8:16 ajn., a two-
vehicle accident caused moderate
damage to both vehicles in the
600 Mock of Southwest Avenue

pickup, driven by Cameron

was backing out of a driveway
and a 1987 Nissan Pulsar, driven
by David Garza, 18, of P.O. Box
715, was headed east on
Southwest I, and the Pulsar struck
the pickup.
Thomison was cited by
officers for unsafe backing.

At 3:45 pjn. EMS transferred
patient from SMH to residence
one mile east on Hwy. 180.
5/31—At 12:10 a.m. EMS
made an emergency medical
transport of patient from the 300
block of SW Ave. I to SMH.
At 1:30 a.m. EMS made an
emergency transfer of patient
from SMH to St. Mary of the
Plains Hospital in Lubbock,
medical.
At 2:24 p.m. EMS made a
medical transfer of patient from
the 400 block of SW 16th Street
to SMH, and returned patient to
residence at 3:27 p.m.
6/1-At 6:19 p.m. EMS made
an emergency transfer of patient
from the 300 block of NW Third
Street to SMH.
6/2-At 6:20 p.m. EMS made
an emergency transfer of patient
from the 300 block of NW Third
to St. Mary of the Plains Hospital
in Lubbock, medical.
