PENTECOSTAL SERVICES
If you like old-time gospel
singin and preaching, you are
invited to attend services at the
Pentecostal Church of God, two
miles east of Kerens on, highway
31, where Rev. Preston Williams
is pastor. Sunday school begins
at 10 a.m. Sunday; Young folks
services at 6:45 p.m. and regu-
lar service at 7:30 p.m. Thurs-
day night services at 7:30.
E. A. Trent of Memphis vis-
ited brothers Herbert and Joe in
Kerens last week.
Mrs. W. I. Berry of El Dorado,
Arkansas is visiting her mother,
Mrs. A. B. Kerley.
C. W. Glass spent the Thanks-
giving holidays in Snyder and
Lubbock, visiting with his broth-
er J. M. Glass and family of
Snyder and his sister Mrs. A. V.
Wright, two nieces, Mrs. Ann
Kennedy and Mrs. Delmont Lin-
cor of Lubbock.
Mr. and Mrs. Billie Gene Sul-
livan and Vicki of Corsicana
spent Thanksgiving with the T.
B. Mattinglys. Vicki remained
for a visit. Mike Mattingly of
Malakoff spent the day Saturday
with the Mattinglys.

visited Mr, and Mrs. Aubry
Mayo in Rusk over Thanksgiving.
Mrs. Lil Martin of Corpus
Christi and Cliff Coates, Jr. of
Aransas Pass, spent Thanksgiv-
ing with the Cliff Coates.
Mr. and Mrs. Nello Thompson
visited Mr. and Mrs. Enos Price
and son in Athens Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Boyd and
daughters of Palestine, Mr. and
Mrs. Zack Stockton and sons of
Abilene, Mrs. Louise Perry of
Wilmer, and Mr. and Mrs. Le-
Roy Reed and family were din-
ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wil-
lie Reed last Thursday. The
Zack Stocktons also visited his
'mother, Mrs. P. N. Stockton and
other relatives while here.
