Junior Stock Show
At Jan. 10 Meet
Discussion of the county junior
fat stock show to be held Jan.
25-26 in Natalia will be a major
issue, at the monthly ^meeting of
the Hondo Future Farmer's Mon-
day, Jam 10 in the agriculture
building. . .
Twenty Hondo FFA boys ex-
pect to be entered in the show.
The San Afitonio Livestock Ex-
position will also be considered.
Plans for a parent-son banquet
in the spring are under considera-
tion. Committees will be appoint-
ed to take care of details.

festooned with balloons Friday,
Dec. 31. Wall clocks were cover-
ed and watches checked at the
door. The bell announcing mid-
night came as a surprise to ev-
eryone.
The music committee, which
provided a jukebox, included
Glenn Schweers agd Jimmy Leaz-
enby.
Refreshments were provided by
Mary Jo Meyer, chairman; Mo-
nette Schweers, Mary Lu Moos
and Roxene Schweers.
Herby Faseler, John Allen Brei-
ten and Jerry Koch were in
charge of the soda water.
The games committee included
Connie Schweers, Joylene Tilley
and Richard Corder.

Enloe’s and Lt. Bruce Allen’s
time.
The patrol recently painted a
classroom to use as a radio shack.
With its radio equipment local
CAPs are able to conta'ct other
CAP’s over the state. Both Capt.
Enloe and Lt. Allen have install-
ed mobile radio units in their
automobiles.
