Band Boosters and friends will

"The Roaring Twenties”, to be
presented in Castro vide two
nights, March 21 and 22 at the
high school.
Everyone is cordially invited.
There will be free baby sitting
both nights at the grammar
school and movies far the kid-
dies.
Reserved seats will be on sale
beginning March 9 at The Medina
Valley Mill and Lumber Co., Cas-
tro ville.
St. Louis Club
Meets To Plan
March Dinner
St. Louis Mother’s Club held
their regular monthly meeting
Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the
■Parish Hall, to lay plans for a
bam dinner to be held March 10.
Father Leo Goertz was unable
to attend the meeting.
The president announced the
bingo party held in February was
a hugh success and thanked all
members. Mrs. E. J. Conrad was
chosen “Mother of the Month.”
Mrs. Gerard Persyn won a
prize for having three sons in
school.
The group will hold their next
meeting March 27.

married Saturday, Feb. 23,
D’Hanas in Holy Cross Catholic
Church. The bridegroom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. William A.
Lutz of DTlanis. Father KoBch
officiated.
The bride wore a gown of
Chantilly lace over white satin,
with a fitted bodice, pointed v-
waiStBne, and Queen Anne col-
lar. Her fingertip veil of heir-
loom illusion was held by a Jnfiet
cap of seed pearls. She carried
white carnations.
Miss Joan Lutz, sister of the
groom, was maid-of-honor. She
wore a blue lace dress, a blue
bandeau, and carried a nose-
gay of blue lace and white carna-
tions. Bridesmaids were dressed
in pink tulle and net, ballerina

Miss Marion Frances Ehfinger,
Devine, became the bride of
Alex Tsehirhart, CastroviHe, in
ceremonies held at St. Joseph’s
Church, Devine, Feb. 23 1957.
Miss Ehlinger is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Willie Ehlinger and
the groom is the eon of Mr. and
Mrs. Alex H. Tsehirhart.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride wore a gown of

Leroy Stein and Wayne Charles

The bride's mother “chose a
navy blue lgce dress with a red
carnation corsage while the
groom's mother wore a navy blue
wool dress.
A reception was held in St.
Joseph Parish Hall following the
ceremonies. Decorations consist-
ed of red and white carnations.
The cake was heart shaped
with a miniature bride and
groom on top.
Mrs. Edson Oefinger served
cake and Mrs. Bob McMillan
registered about 200 guests in the
bride’s book.
Miss Ehlinger is a graduate
of Devine High School and is now
employed in San Antonio. The
groom a 11 e n ded school at La-
Coste and is also employed in
San Antonio.
Rev. Leo Goertz was a special
guest at the services.
