Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Ramsey
of Corpus Christi, have re-
turned home after a visit with
relatives in the New Prospect
community. Mis. R. B. Ram-
sey, who has been visiting in
Corpus Christi for sometime,
came home with them last
week.
Houston Cheek was here
from Ruston, La., to spend the
week-end with his family.
Mrs. A. J. Henry of Center,
is visiting her daughter, Mrs.
J. B. Hammer of the New
Prospect community. Al-
though 9S years of age. Mrs.
Henry is enjoying splendid
| health and is active in various
i household duties. Mrs. Ham-

of Jasper, is also here for a
several days visit.

week-end in Shreveport with
the family of her daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones.
Oris Brinson and Mr. and
Mrs. Bertram Brinson of

Timpson with Mr. and Mrs.
Rex Brinson. The gentlemen
are brothers.

ladies’ parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Miss Bessie Smith, member
of the Nacogdoches school
faculty, was here last week-
end for a visit with her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs Homer
Smith.
Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Butlei4
and children, Harlan Wayne
and Maurine of La Porte,
spent last week-end visiting
Timpson relatives. They re-
cently moved to that city
where Mr. Butler is employed
in the Houston ship yards with
the Houston Ship Building
Corporation. As an employe

launching of a new ship, the
Sam Houston, on Sunday,
March 29th. They were ac-
companied on the trip to
Timpson by Eugene Butler.

spent Sunday in Carthage with
the family of their daoghter,
Mr. and Mrs. 0. J. Hanszen,
and with Mr. and Mrs. Her-
man Mitstead.
