dinner and dance Friday
evening at theSPJST Hall in
Holland.

A covered dish meal was
provided by Jerry Haislcr of
Temple.
The couple were married
on December 12 1954 at St.
John Lutheran Church in
Bartlett. They have two
children Denise
Spiegelhauer and Gary
Spiegelhauer both of Bar-
tlett. Approximately 225 guests
registered for the occasion.

Honored
The Central Christian
Church of Holland Texas
honored Rev. and Mrs.
Walter Fcay on their 50th
anniversary after the church
services on Sunday Dec. 10.
The celebration was held in
the church annex. Rev Fcay
has been In the ministry for
55 years and has spent 11 of
those years preaching in the
Holland-Bartlcttarea.
Arrangements for the
celebration were made by
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Coker Mr.
and Mrs. Bill Lange and Mr
and Mrs. Harry Perkins
Mr. Bill Lange presented a
cash gift to Rev. and Mrs.
Feay from the Church and
Carrie Starke presents a 50th
anniversary plate to them
from the young people of the
church. Gifts were also
received from the First
Christian Church of Bartlett
and other members oj the
church. Special guests were
Brother and Mrs. Stanley D.
Letcher of Bartlett Mrs.
George Latham of Holland
and Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Haas.
Aside from the golden
anniversary gifts gifts of
love were presented to each
member by Mrs Yakesch
and David Lange.
4-H Club
Has Party
The Holland 4-H met on
Wednesday fjr their meeting
and Christmas party. The
meeting was called to order
by Carrie Starke president.
She led the members in the 4-
H Motto 4-H Pledge and 4-H
Prayer. Shcryl Marwitz
secretary call the roll call
thirty-two members and
fifteen parents were present.
The club voted to buy a
slide projector for the school
and to give a school
scholarship amount to be
decided at a later date. The
Christmas party began with
the reading of a Christmas
poem (The Night Before
Christmas In Texas) read by
Sheryl Marwitz.
Refreshments were made
and served by the 4-H
members who will be taking
part in the County Fair in
February. A table laden with
goodies such as tea cakes
Chocolate cakes divinity
sniker doodles pecan tassies
boiled cookies and chocolate
chip cookies were enjoyed by
members and parents who
were in attendance.

the Homemaking Cottage. At

would like a visit from the
Young Homemakers on Dec.
20th to hear a selection of

many shut-ins as time allows.
