Some say the Democratic Con-
tention is quite boring and it
1ms onlv started We are looking
toward the outcome. Tho real
action has not begun.
Many many people are inter-
tested in politics and the future
of this country while others
.are not concerned in anybody or
anything except themselves.
Our republic was founded on
the principle that it will contin-
ue only as long as the people
keep Democracy alive.
The Democrats seem to be
determined to stand behind
thpir choice Jimmy Carter and
not have the deplorable conven-
tions t.hnv had the last two times
they gathered to select their
candidates. So far the delegates
indicate that they have their
feet on the ground and their
ihwula hicrh and ready to ac-
arraigned before Justice of
the Peace Bill Hill. Bona was
set at $10000.00 and Miller
was placed in the Williamson
County jail.
Sheriff Bossliard reported

Monday morning on County
Road 149 between Walburg
and Weir. The scope of the in-
vestigation covered central
Willinmson County. Temple
Bartlett and Austin. Bosshard
reported that many miles were
covered by his investigators
and many hours were put in on
the case.
Bosshard stated that in ad
dition to himself Deputies
Leon Kelley and Jim Eoutwell
and Bartlett Chict ol ronce
Horace White had key roles in
the investigation. Bell County
Chief Deputy Leon Phillips al
so assisted.
The case will be presented
home in Temple.
