F. West, Chair, of Dom, Ex. Com.
of the 4th Floatorial Dist. of Texas,
for the purpose of nominating a
candidate from said district, Judge
Chas. A. Soward was called to
the chair> on motion of J. J. Terrell
of Wise county, C. W. Martin of
Wise county was elected secretary.
On motion of Capt. Gant of
Young county, the chairman ap-
pointed a committee of three, com-
posed of Capt. Gant, J. B. Blanton
and T. A. Fuller on credentials.
On motion of T. A. Fuller of
Wise, the chairman appointed
Capt. Gant, M. W. Shoemaker and
Dr. Poindexter, as a committee on
representation and permanent or-
ganization.

Whereas, J. R. Johnson did on the 6th
day of November, 1876 at a regular term of
the District Court of Jack county, Texas,
recover a judgment in said District Court
for the sum of four thousand four hundred
and forty-live aud 69-100 dollars and costs of
suit against D. J. Murphy, R. P. Stocktou.
M. Jtockton, and F. M. Southerland iu a
certain cause therein pending No. 394, J. It.
Johnson, plaintiff vs. D. J. Murphy, R. P.
Stockton, Al. Stockton and F. 31. Souther-
land, defendants; And whore.la said judgment
h is become dormant by reason of the plain-
tiffs failing and neglecting to have execution
issued against said defendants in said cause
