veteran of World War I. who
expired Saturday in the Veter-
ans Hospital at Temple, where
he had resided for the last thir-
ty years of his life.
The deceased was a brother
of John C and Hamp A. Flem-
ing, early settlers ol the Smy-
rna Community They preceded

Surviving brother* are Jeff
Heming of F.mory, Marion
Fleming of Blue Ridge. A aur-
wing sister is Beckie Fleming
who resides in the Anderson
Nursing Home at Grand Saline.
Hood Funeral Home was in

Mr Fleming was born Janu-
