SOCIAL SiCCRITY OFFICE OPEN
Although Tuesday, February 22nd is a National Holi-
day, the Social Security District Office at 315 West Mulberry
will be open to the public that day, Gus Jones, District
Manager, announced. “Persons age 65 and over who have
never applied for social security benefits or medicare should
use this opportunity to visit the office,” Jones pointed out.
March 31 is the deadline for enrolling in plan B of medicare
to have the coverage effective July 1, when medicare begins.
