BLESSED ASSURANCE!
Being sure of ourselves is a much sought after trait. It makes us comfortable just being
around people who are sure of what they are doing. The kind of assurance that is truly
"Blessed Assurance" comes from one source only, and that is the Lord. There is nothing
quite as peaceful as the feeling you get when you've made a decision based on what the
Lord wants you to do. Being sure of what the right way is often easier said than done,
however.
Knowing God's ways is an excellent way of knowing the right way. To understand
God's methods, read about his ways in the Bible and then apply them to your life.
"If any ofyou lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without
reproach, and it will be given to him.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea
driven and tossed by the wind.
For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a
double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." James 1:5-8 NKJ
Bring your thinking into line with God's as you read the Bible, seek His wisdom, and
worship him in the Church of Your Choice.
