I gave you my love, you can only
How much you gave me in happiness.

But now it’s time I travel on alone.
So grieve awhile, if grieve you
Then, let your grief be comforted

Though you can’t see or touch me,

You’ll hear all my love around you

And then, when you must come this
I’ll greet you with a smile and say.

As Christians, god has placed a
goal for us to press towards. But,
it seems that every time that we get
our momentum up to top speed, wc
encounter one of lives hurdles f
Somcliincs the hurdles cause us lb’
stumble and become disorientated
along the course of life. At other
times, the hills of life just seem to
wear us down When you thought
you finally think you made it
through the last tunnel, you coinc
upon another tunnel: and when the
funds arc low. the debts are high!
If it isn't one thing, it's another.
But the Apostle Paul tells us to.
say anything to try to confuse those
who believe in faith whether we have
blacks are making it in life, or whether
we have somehow lost our way, the
fault is not in God. God is still lov-
ing. God is still good. God can still
be trusted. God can still roll burdens
away heaven and earth may pass
away but God, will still be a God of
People, used to say that an empty
wagon makes a lot of fuss. When the
Lord is in our lives we do not have to
raise a fuss or create any noise, we
simply need to just keep on being
who we are. "But they that wait upon
the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as
eagles; they shall run, and not be
weary, and they shall walk, and not

’’Press on toward the goal to win
the prize for which God has called
you heaven-want in Christ Jesus’’
(Phil 3:14). Even though the way
gets tough and long, we are to
press on and keep our focus on the
Lord. We have to endure the hard-
ships of this world as a good sol-
dier of Christ Jesus (II Tim 2:3).
We have to press on to higher
Wc must also remember that as
Christian athletes, negotiating the
course of life, wc must compete ac-
cording to the rules (of the Word
of God). If we are to be crowned
the victors, we must be obedient.
Regardless of our circumstances,
wc know that ’’All things God
works for the good of those who
love Him. who have been called
according to His purpose.”
God is in the press box and has
designed the course of your life.
He knows where you have been,
where you are, and where you are
going to. But, you have to keep
faith in the Lord and press on to-
wards the goal. The victory is al-
ready yours, but you have to run
the course from the start to finish!
Don't be a 100 meter Christian,
but a marathon Christian and
press on towards the goal!
When the course gets tough, re-
member that, “neither death, not
life, neither angels nor demons,
neither present nor the future, nor
any powers, neither height nor
depth, nor anything else in all cre-
ation. will be able to separate us
from the love of God that is in
Christ Jesus Our Lord” (Rom.
8:38-39). “Press on towards the

The Bible is a book of many races,
many tribes, and many people.
We as people of color owe our roots
to our African mothers and fathers.
Throughout the old Testament we
read about various people in whom
God made known his will, his rev-
elation. While God called the Jesus
to be his special people through
whom he made known his divine
revelation to man, God has always
made known bis light to all people
In the New Testament God no
