The decision from the STUDENTS is to go ahead with the T-shirt
design contest and the First Walk-Run, 2000.
With the Deadline for the T-shirt contest drawing closer, make sure
you get your entry in by MARCH 9th/ THURSDAY.
Entries are to be given to your teachers.
Entry Fee is $1.00/per entry. Two is the limit per student.
Judging will be done on March 10th/FRIDAY.
Winner(s) will be announced after Spring Break.
THE STUDENTS NEED YOUR HELP. We are seeking
SPONSORS to help offset the cost of the T-shirts we will be selling.
The proceeds will go directly to the school.
Any SPONSOR donating $100.00 or more will have their NAME
printed on the BACK OF OUR T-SHIRTS.

The Chamber of Commerce is having a Banquet on March 20,
2000, to recognize Harper's citizen of the year and the past citizens
of the year recipients. We will start at 6:30 and have a meal at
7:00. Pardi's from Fredericksburg will be catering the meal. There
will be entertainment and door prizes. The tickets will cost $10.00
and we need and RSVP by March 10th. We would love to have you
come and bring a guest. This is our first banquet and we would love
for the citizens of Harper to participate and come enjoy the evening
with us. We have a new slate of officers for you to meet and we
would also like to meet you.
Starting in April, our meetings will be on the second Wednesday of
the month and we will begin the meeting at 5:30 p.m.
Barry Best was here on Feb. 16th and did a presentation on the
internet and how to set up your own Web Page. He works for
Central Texas Electric Coop unter the business name of CTESC.
