people who have talked to
ine about the Jail. These peo-

county was under orders from
the Texas Jail Commission to
build a new jail. This Is not
true. The representative from
the Commiuiou told this re-
porter and the sheriff last year
when 1 asked if the things the
court had voted on to do
would q tallfy the present jail
as a 72-hour holdover. He an*
swered it would. The court

the agenda on the 15th. This
