have his eyes treated. We are glad

turned the first of the week to his
home in Imperial.
The Shirkey-Riggs hunting party
returned Monday from the Chisos
mountains and report a good time and
a total of six deer as the result of
their marksmanship.

W. H. Leatherwood, of 7-D, left
Wednesday on a pleasure and business |

Leatherwood was accompanied by J.
G. Merhns, who had been his guest for

Miss Grace Wickline, who had been
visiting her sister, Miss Wickline, a
teacher in our public schools, left
Tuesday for a visit with relatives in
Dallas, before returning to her home in
Stephenville.
Rev. Lloyd motored in last Satur-
day from Balmorhea and conducted
services Sunday at the Presbyterian
church. Rev. Lloyd was accompanied
over by L. I. Culpepper and E. W. Van
Deren, who spent a few hours in the
Spring City.
Frank Flynn and family, of Kansas
City, who have been guests of
Mrs. Flynn’s sisters, Mmes. Dutton
MWilliamson and Will Harral, left
Wednesday for Los Angeles, ac-
companied by Mrs. Flynn's par-
