FOR FOUR CYCLINDER PORSCHE ENGINES by Jim Sidwell
If you are on a trip or out of town when you suddenly break a fan
belt on yur 4 cyclinder Porsche, don't despair. Just go to your nearest
Enco dealer and ask for atlas belt #725. It works fine. It is, however,
a little bit larger than others so a few of the little shims will have
to be removed to take up the slack.
Much effort can be saved if, the next time that you service your car,
you remove the fan belt-generator nut and lubricate it with anti-seize.
Then, if the belt does break, you can remove the nut with a minimum of
time and effort.
Here’s what’s next.
