READY — A water storage tank is put into place Tuesday morning at the Convenience Station as the City works
toward selling non potable water to residents. The tank will be filled with well water from the river well field which will
be made available to local residents in the next few days. Vouchers for the water may be purchased at City Hall and
exchanged for the water when it is ready. City Administrator Larry Pannell said the water should begin to be available
in the next few days. The water will be transported to town in one of the tankers purchased recently by the City. The
other tanker is being used to capture water from mandated fire hydrant flushing. This water is being used to refill the
swimming pool.
