cluding Biology 10 a, b, 120, 121, 142 and 143.
Biology 10 a, b. GENERAL BIOLOGY.--The study of life
as shown by a thorough review of the structure of the cell,
first as a living unit of the plant and animal kingdom. Cellu-
differentiation is followed to the formation of tissues, organs,
and systems. Thorough consideration is followed in the system-
atic study of the lower animals and plants. Special note is made
in the anatomy, physiology, reproduction, embryology, genetics,
and variation of the organism both animal and plant. Classifi-
cation of higher animals and plants is considered as well as
their relations and distribution. Two lectures and one three
hour laboratory per week. Credit: 6 semester hours.
Biology 120. GENERAL PHYSIOLOGY.-A brief considera-
tion of the fundamental principles of general physiology is
followed by a systematic discussion of mammalian physiology.
The course is designed for students intending to ma jor in
biology, or to obtain firm ground work in the biological sciences
for the purpose of medical or dental work. The various sys-
tems will be considered in logical order, with a thorough re-
