police a juvenile had stolen two
candy bars from a store. The
juvenile was located and identified,
was transported to the police
department and then released to his
parents.

Mock of Southwest 8th Street told
police that unknown persons cut two
tires on his vehicles. Damage was
estimated at $20 per tire.
9/16-A complainant in the 700
Mock of Southwest Avenue B told
police an air compressor, valued at
$800, was taken from the back of
hit pickup.
9/17—A complainant in the 600
Mock of South west Avenue D told
police that aminknown person had
cut a tire on his vehicle. Damage
was estimated at $70.
9/17- A complainant in the 1100
block of Southwest Avenue E told
police that a person was causing
problems at her parent’s house.
9/17-A complainant in the 100
block of Southwest 8th Street told
police a known person had caused
her bodily harm by hitting her.

Accidents
9/15-At 12:40 p.m.. Department
of Public Safety officers
investigated a one-vehicle accident
7.4 miles northwest of Seminole on
Texas Highway 214.
Investigators said a 1991 Honda,
driven by Ricardo Duran, 25, of
Lubbock was headed south on the
highway when the driver lost
control, ran off the west side of the
road, and overturned one and one-
half times.
Both Duran and Reyna
Miramontez, 25, a passenger in the
vehicle, were taken to Seminole
Memorial Hospital by EMS
ambulance. They were later
transferred to a Lubbock medical
facility for further treatment
9/15—At 4:15 p.m., DPS officers
investigated an accident at the
intersection of County Road 306
and U.S. 385 1.5 miles south of
Seminole.
According to investigators, a
school bus had stopped to unload
students. A 1990 Plymouth van,
driven by Jose Flores, Jr., 17, of
P.O. Box 1831, had stopped for the
bus when a 1988 Toyota pickup,
driven by a 13-year-old female
juvenile, ran into the back of the
Flores vehicle, causing moderate
damage to the van and heavy to the
pickup.
The juvenile was cited for failure
to control speed to avoid an
accident.
9/17-At 6:44 p.m., Seminole
Police investigated a two-vehicle
accident at the intersection of
Southwest Avenue G and Southwest
6 th Street.
Investigators said a 1983 Ford
Thunderbird, driven by David
Munguia,41,of P.O. Box 1033, was
headed north on sixth and a 1990
Pontiac, driven by Susana Wall, 18,
of 1500 SE 5th Street, was headed
eaac ogjaiivenue G when the
Tliunderbtfdfailed toyielanghtof
way and the accident occurred in the
intersection.
Heavy damage was done to the
Thunderbird and moderate to the
Pontiac. Munguia was cited by
officers for failure to yield right of
way-stop sign.
9/18-Seminok police investigated
a four-vehicle accident in the 2100
Mock of Northwest Avenue D just
before 4 p.m. Monday.

Caprice, driven by Judy Allen. 39,
of 700 NW Ave. F. a 1994 Ford
pickup, driven by Sheri French, 18,
of P.O. Box 642. and a 1991
Mitsubishi, driven by a 16-year-old
male, were all slopped in traffic
behind other vehicles at the slop sign
at Northwest Avenue D and Northwest
23rd street, facing west.
A 1986 Ford Taurus, driven by
a 16-year-old male juvenile was
headed west on Avenue D, failed to
control speed, and struck the
Mitsubishi in the rear, which in turn
struck the Ford pickup, which in turn
struck the Caprice.
There was minor damage to both
the Caprice and the Ford pickup,
moderate to heavy to the Mitsubishi
and minor to the Taurus.
A passenger in the Taurus, a 16-
year-old female, was taken to
Seminole Memorial Hospital, where
she was treated for her injuries.
The driver of the Taurus was cited
for failure to control speed and no
driver’s license.
EMS
9/15-At 8:45 p.m., Seminole
EMS transported two patients that
were involved in a motor vehicle
accident northwest of Seminole to
Lubbock Methodist Hospital.
9/15—At 10:23 a.m., EMS
transported a patient from Memorial
Healthcare Center to Seminole
Memorial Hospital.
9/16—At 11:14 a.m., EMS
transported an injured patient from
the 700 block of Northwest Avenue
J to Memorial Hospital.
9/17-At 2:12 a.m., EMS
transported a patient from the 900
block of Northwest Avenue G to
Memorial Hospital. At 3:45 a.m.,
EMS transported the same patient
from Memorial Hospital to
University Medical Center in
Lubbock.
9/ft^At 6:46 p.m., EMS was
called to an accident at the
intersection of Southwest 6th Street
and Southwest Avenue G. No
transport.

Crime Line Rewards
Crime Line is currently offering a reward for information leading
to arrests and recovery of merchandise in connection with a burglary
of a motor vehicle 18 miles west of Seminole.
Reported taken from the vehicle were an aluminum tool box tray,
a plastic case with nut drivers, two 18-inch crescents with two
notches on the handle and assorted tools marked "BL" or "CDL."
Tout! value of the missing merchandise is $3,500.
Crime Line is currently offering a reward in connection with a fire
at two couon modules eight miles south of Ten-Hi Gin on County
Road 121 on Nov. 6.
Arson was believed the cause of the fire, which destroyed the two
modules, valued at $3,000 each.
In addition to the Crime Line Reward, the owners of the two
modules have offered a $2,000 reward.
An extra reward, in addition to a Crime Line stipend, is currently
being offered by Marine Automated Systems in connection with the
theft of a positioning system 10 miles west of Seminole on Feb. 17.
The system is valued at $25,000. The extra reward is being offered
for the return of the unit-no questions asked.
Crime Line is currently offering a reward in connection with the
theft of a radio from a tractor at a location two miles south of
Seagraves on County Road 109 during the evening of Feb. 3 or the
early morning hours of Feb. 4. Sheriff’s investigators said the radio
is a factory John Deere AM-FM, gray in color.
In addition to the regular Crime Line reward, the owner of the
radio is offering a $300 reward for the arrest and conviction of the
person or persons responsible.
.Crime Line will pax up to a $1,000 reward for information leading
to the arrest and/or indictment of the person or persons responsible
for committing an offense.
Good information needs to be offered, but the persons offering the
information do not have to identify themselves.

FBC Banquet
"Round-Up" will be the
theme for the First Baptist
Church’s Fall Banquet, set for
6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.
To accommodate the expected
crowd, the banquet will be
held in the Elementary School
