A Family Reunion
The home of W. J. Harris near
Bluff Dale, was the scene of a
happy family reunion on July 26,
in which Rev. T. P. Reece and
wife were the central figures.
After a pleasant morning spent
with children and grand-children
dinner was announced and 65 an-
swered to the call. Half dozen
or more chickens and many other
good things graced the table.
After dinner many good old songs
were rendered by the crowd,and
all in all it was a happy day in
the history of grandpa and grand-
ma Reece, who are 75 and 65
years old respectively.
Nine of their children were
present as follows: Mrs W. B.
Baker, of Celeste; Mrs. J. J.
.Gentry, of Trent; Mrs. Lula
Elam, of Leonard; Mrs. Georgia
Harris and Messrs I. S. Reece,
W. D. Reece, Ray and Oscar
Reece. Two other children 'liv-
ing could not attend. Mr. Elam,
Mr. Harris, twenty-two grand-
children. and a number of friends
completed the attendance.

Somebody has told John Smith,
of Huckabay, that Jim Davidson,
of Hannibal, would probably
marry again if he were sure he
would not “get bit.” Mr. Smith
takes a friendly interest in Mr.
Davidson and has been on the
lookout ever since the report
reached him to see if he could
render him a friendly turn. Now
some one has also told of a good
woman who Mr. Smith is sure
will suit Mr. Davidson exactly,
and he thinks the match will b<5
easily made provided he suits the
lady. Mr. Smith says the lady
has no teeth and there is no
chance for his friend to “get
bit.”
