ther Dan Lanlng of Beeville, for-
mer rector of St. Gertrude's, sang

leans, aunt of the bride, served as

slock, prominently placed, added

The home of Mrs. J. C. Nolan, at 1
620 west Lee, was the setting last j
Tuesday evening at the 7 o'clock
hour for one of the most delightful
dinner hospitalities of the season,
honoring Miss Virginia Wright,
bride-elect of the month. Co-host-
esses with Mrs. Nolan were Mrs.
N. M. Harrel and Mrs. W. H. Young,
A cojor motif of lavender and yel-
low was artistically reflected in the
appointment details. Beautiful
double larkspur, candy tuft, sun-
flowers with a variety of other col-
orful spring blossoms, ornamented
the rooms.
The table, lace-spread, held an
attractive floral centerpiece over
which fell the soft glow of burning
lavender tapers. Covers were laid
for the following guests: Miss Vir-
ginia; her mother, Mrs. J. B.
Wright; Mrs. O. O. Hollingsworth,
aunt of the honoree; Misses Mary
Grace Harnett; Sldde Grace Blud-
worth; Betty Finnegan; Leona
Sims; Mary Margaret Keepers;
Annette Fromme; Hattie Bell Col-
ston: Mary Kennedy, and her house-
guest, Mrs. Gilbert Kennedy of
Kilgore, Texas.
