lecture Course /90/1-902.
Our lecture course during the past three school years,
represents a new department; in every way profitable and de-
lightful. It serves to bring before our students a large num-
ber of able men and women who discuss a variety of subjects
in a most helpful way. It will be made a permanent part of
our school work in the future.
On the part of the committee, I wvish to thank the persons
who have served us in this capacity, many of whom have put
themselves to no small inconvenience to bring to our students
the wealth of their wisdom and experience. We are sure
that our lecture coarse this year has been more full and regu-
lar than in any previous year, and if the thought that they
have been the means of helping young men and women to
become more broad and generous in their views, and of right-
ly discriminating between that which is good and that which
is evil, then be assured that these things have been well ac-
complished for many-and we hope a great many of our stu-
dents.
Much credit is due our students and teachers who volun-
tarily contributed to meet the necessary expenses.
