No Money Sense
You often hear the remark that “So-and-so is very well educated
and quite competent but he hasn’t any ‘money sense’.”
And it is true that a man may be ever, so well educated and still
not be able to successfully conduct a business. He is shy on business
ti-aining and business experience. We maintain that the best way to
get in touch with the business world is by doing business through a
bank, thereby becoming familiar with all business methods and touch-
ing elbows with business men, because nearly all business men con-
duct their business through the bank.

WOOL POOL SOLD
Georgetown, Texas, July 7.—A co-
operative sale of about a carload of
fine wool was effected at George-
town Wednesday, a number of mem-
bers of the Williamson County Sheep
Breeders’ Association having pooled
their wool for sale purposes. The wool
was bought by Howard Bland of Tay-
lor at prices ranging from 14 to 20
cents a pound. Mr. Bland will ship
the wool to Eastern markets.

ter spending a time here with J. A.
Hallmark and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Reeves Brown and
children, who now make their home
near Mathis, San Patricio {county,
arrived here Saturday and spent a
few days with relatives. Cotton pick-
ing began on their place Monday
morning, July 11th, which seems ear-
ly for us in this part of the state.
Those who remember Mrs. Brown’s
splendid work in the Methodist church
when she lived here, will be glad to
know she is doing good work in her
new home and enjoying it.
WHEN EVERY MOVE HURTS
Lame every morning, achy and stiff
all day, worse, when it’s damp or chil-
ly? Suspect your kidneys and try the
remedy your neighbors use. Ask our
neighbor!
J. N. Peacock, stone cutter, Lam-
pasas, says: “About two years ago
I was troubled with pains across the
small of my back and in bending over,
they were pretty bad and when I
would straighten up, they would catch
me, too. I think it came from being
out in all kinds of weather. I wou)d
also get nervous at times and often
had a sluggish, tii-ed feeling. I start-
ed using Doan’s Kidney Pills and it
wasn’t long before I could bepd over
without my back hurting me and all
the pains left. After I took one box
of Doan’s Kidney Pills I was entirely
cured and I haven’t had the slightest
return of kidney trouble since.”
