will elect three trustees each on
April 4th, together with the
the managers of the
election, as appointed by the
commissioners oourt.
It is to be hoped that the votere
of the eeveral districts will take
an interest in this matter and
elect men who will look to the
welfare of the schoole.
I would suggeet that the oiti-
sens in thoee districts that hold
hog law* elections on April 4,
advertise the time of meeting to
elect trustees early in the morn-
ing or at night, so ae to suit the
oonvenienoe of the oitisena. Other
districts may do the same if they
see proper. The main objeot is
to advertise the hour of eleotion.
Immediately after the election
those who are elected will draw
for terms, as the law direots, by
plaoing the numbers, 1, 2 and 3,
on slips of paper. No. 1 will
servo one year, and those draw-
ing numbers 2 and 3 will serve
two years. You will also notify
mo ae early as possible who were
elected and the terms of each
trustee. Respectfully,
Andrew J. Holmes,-
