Hello to all. Pray all is well with you and yours.
It just seems like there is so much madness going on
in our world today, that it might be time we stopped
and looked to see what the bible says God has to of-
fer us. I can tell you what he offers is so much better.
9 inch deep dish pie shell
3 T. margarine
3/4 c. chopped green onions
4 oz. can chopped mushrooms
1/4 c. diced red bell pepper
1 c. chopped ham
8 oz. pkg. grated Swiss cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. flour
1 c. Half-N-Half
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Saute onions, mushrooms and bell pepper in butter
over med. heat. Place in pie shell; top with ham, Swiss
cheese and Parmesan cheese. Place eggs in a bowl; stir
in flour with fork or a wire whisk. Mix in remaining
ingredients. Pour over ham-cheese mixture. Sprinkle
with paprika. Bake @375 degrees for about 40 min-
utes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
GREEN AND WHITE SALAD
1 med. head cauliflower, cut into florets
3 stalks broccoli, cut into florets
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1/2 c. sour cream
1 T. sugar
Salt & pepper
1 c. mayonnaise
1 T. vinegar
Few drops Worcestershire sauce
Parboil cauliflower and broccoli; drain and rinse with
cold water. Add green onions and dressing mixture. Mix
well and refrigerate. FOR DRESSING: Mix sour cream,
mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and Worcester-
DANISH APPLE PIE
1/2 c. flour
1 c. diced raw apple
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix in any order until well mixed. Bake in a greased
pie tin @350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with ice
cream or whipped cream if desired.
