Mrs. David Hudson was the
honoree at a pink and blue show-
er at the home of Mrs. Gerald
Holmes, Saturday morning.
Co-hoste3ses with Mrs. Holmes
were Mmes. Jerry Jones, Mar-
shall E. Jones, Oscar Legate, G.
G. Ryan, Vivian Westbrook and
Miss Alice Ruth Tidwell. Re-
freshments of melba toast, ba-
nana bread miniature fruit pies
and coffee were served. The
serving table was centered with
n baby doll in an Faster wagon
and Easter bunnines and Easter
eggs. The register’s table was
decorated with an Easter ar-
rangement.
Out of town guests were Mmes.

Hudson and Gus S.vaim, Rogata.
It has been announced that
week end revival service, start-
ing Thursday night, March 23,
will be held at the Halesboro
Church. Johnny O’Neil of An-
nona, will be the speaker. The
public is invited.

Lubbock, Mr. and Mrs. Hiram
Oliver visited Mr. and Mrs. A. J.
Jennings, Monday.
Johnny Ray Humphrey, who is
employed at Hope, Ark., spent
several days last week with his
mother, Mrs. Rob Raney, Mr.
Raney and Calinda. Friday vis-
itors were Mrs. David Miller and
children, Mrs. Ruby Maclar and
children of Grand Prairie.
Mmes. Iiritt Lassiter, Les Hol-
der, E. C. Watts of Bogota, Mrs.
George Reynolds of Detroit were
in Hot Springs, Ark., to attend
the races during week end.

visited Mrs. Hattie Butler Sun-

Shreveport, La., is in a revival
at the Baptist Church this week.
Bro. Furlow is visiting in the
home of Rev. and Mrs. C. W.
Permenter and family.
Mrs. Irene Pew spent the week
in Longveiw with her niece and
family, Mr. and Mis. Fred Stahl,
while her sister, Mis. M. H. Dry-
den of Abilene is visiting her
daughter.
Mr. and Mrs. John Sales visit-
ed their daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bains of Ar-
lington, last week.
Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Hinson and
family visited her sister and

Everybody is invited. Refresh-

and David Williams of Com-
merce, are still coining in every
week end to visit their parents and
friends.
Since the beginning of the re-
vival at the Baptist Church, six
have joined the church by bap-
