The North Texas Shoot.
On March 21 and 22 the North
Texas Gun Club League will be
entertained by the Bonham club,
and a big shoot will be had. The
League numbers 180 members,
and from 75 to 100 are* expected
to be present. ' A fine list* of
premiums is offered. Live birds
will' be used, as well as clay
pigeons. As the cost of enter-
taining the league will be heavy,
and the club members are few,
the citizens will be asked to help
bear the expense.
Thb date originally set was
March 22 and 23, but on account
of the hanging of the two negroes
on the 23rd, it has been changed.
On a former occasion the club
had a shoot on the day of a hang-
ing, and it is not desirable to
have the shooters think we have
hangings all the time.
