The New Year was christened
by the lighting of a hugo fire
cracker by Maxlno Hughes who
won high score. Other guests
helped welcome 1934 by shooting
firecrackers and lighting spark
lcrs.
The group then adjourned to
the midnight matinee.

The marriage of Miss Zclda
Moscr of Frederick Oklahoma
and Elbridge Linn of Santa Anna
California was solemnized in the
home of the bride at nine o'clock
on New Year morning. The cere-
mony was conducted by K. C. Mo-
scr of Wichita Falls uncle of the
bride.
Present for the wedding were
tho family and near relatives of
the bride Miss Margaret Linn sis-
ter of the bridegroom and friends
of the bride residing in Frederick.
Immediately following the cer-
emony the couple set out for San-
ta Anna where they will make
their home. Mr. Linn is engaged
as minister of the Church of Christ
in Santa Anna.
Both were graduated with the
'33 class here last June. While
in school here Miss Moser took
active part in religious activities
and was a prominent member of
the W Club. Mr. Linn was a min
isterial student was president of
the senior class.

handedness in college basketball
to attain a name for himself
throughout Texas and to gain top
honors in the Texas Conference
