By DIANE BAILEY
Became of the men's crowded
dorm situation the opportunity
to live in a motel was given to
the third members in a room.
Eight men accepted the offer
and are now living at the
Thunderbird Lodge.
The students who did move
off campus are Bryan Brown
Stan Frank Kyle Kaiser Bruce
Martin Chris Piccione Dennis
Reed Bill Strong and Greg
Watkins. Although they do have
somo disadvantages they all
enjoy the change from dorm life.
Stan Frank said he likes the
conveniences they have but the
motel life isnt as nice as most
students think. Because they are
students they do not get the
normal maid servico given at
motels. However their sheets are
supplied for double beds.
The disadvantage they agree
on Is the distance fr6m campus.

Because they are off campus
they have a few added expenses.
Cleaning items are not supplied

of them have refrigerators and
find they spend money filling
them up with things they dont
really need.
None of the boys feel that
their situation Is completely bad.
In fact they all enjoy It and
think it has many advantages to
offset the disadvantages. Bill

have more responsibility. They
can't count on the noise of a
dorm getting them up at Oreg

to take the responsibility of
making themselves wake up.
Another advantage they have
that dorm students dont Is
making long distance calls from
their rooms. This saves them the
bother of waiting in line at a pay
telephone. However they do
have to pay for it. Every call
made whether long distance or
local costs 20 cents.
