wood, in the Reserves, was called
to Fort Hood.
Mrs. Jud Bratton has a very
severe case of shingles.
Mra. Sidney Perry, who fell and
cut a long gash in her forehead,
seems to be doing pretty well.
Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Sannom
have returned from a week-end
visit with Mr. and Mrs. Macon
Ransom. Barbara and Don at
Kerrville.
Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Rice an-
nounce the arrival of a baby girl
at Prady Hospital last Saturday,
Oct. 14.
Mr. and Mra. L. C. Underwood
and Jon Pool, Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Miller, Graham and Ann and the
Erick Lemke family, Placid, went
to San Saba Sunday for the R. A.
Dorans’ fiftieth wedding anniver-
sary.
Mrs. Alpha Eckert and Mr. and
Mrs. Elmer Eckert visited Mr.
and Mrs. Jimmie Brown, Austin,
Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Arliss Eckert
Brownwood, visited home folks

wood. visited the Bill Millers Sun-
day afternoon.

lowing surgery Is able to be at

to be with the Joe Martin De«d*
family over the week-end. They
stayed until Monday afternoon to
see Mrs. Joe Martin Deeds through
surgery that morning and brought
her two small children home with
them.
Mrs. Curtis Powell and baby,
Keith, Brownwood, spent last week
with the George Veateys and the
Jim Powells. Curtis came to take
them home Friday.
The Wayland Jordans of Mid-
land, are visiting Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Jordan. Placid.
They and Mr. and Mrs. Dean
Jordan. Mr and Mrs. Elward Jor-
dan and Mr. and Mrs. l*wia Jor-
dan all of Prady and Mrs. M«r-
garet Jordan enjoyed a picnic din-
ner and family visit at Richards

Flags Over Texas Saturday then
on to the Dallas Fair Sunday
