The theme chosen for this
year's National FHA Week is
"Making an Impact Today That
Will Last Many Tomorrows" to
focus attention on what over
half a million young men and
women in FHA and HERO
chapters throughout the conn
try are doing to explore the
multifile roles individuals play
in family, community and
career life.

vercrest FHA chapter presi
dent, points out that several
million young people have been
challenged by the unlimited
opportunities offered through
membership in Future Home
makers of America over the
twenty nine years since its
establishment as the national
organization for high school
students In home economics
and related occupations. "FHA
plays an effective role in the
educational system," she said,
"bv keeping us involved in
activites that benefit us not
only as individuals but as family
and community members. In
other words, it serves as a
bridge between the classroom,
the home and the community
and is the wav for developing
the potential of each individual
member for a productive life in
our society.
The seventy three mem'
hers of the Rivercrest FHA
chapters have scheduled a
number of activities for this
