STYLECASTER

After attending the style show
the other night I rcalued I should
mention a few of the fashions in
this column. So please pardon if
this should sound dull and le-
member that the style show was
very pretty but I'm not good at
describing pretty things.

Howard Payne's ever popular Da-
vid Reynolds modeled for Rosen-
berg's a very nice tan summer-
weight flannel suit accented by
four patch pockets. The useful-
ness of spoit coats was brought
out by a Navy blue one that may
be combined with either gray or
tan slacks. Then the white jack-
et tops any slacks and looks good
with lime gieen slacks and Navy
blue shirt as was shown by Wais-
man's. The fact that suit jackets are

glass. I have an inkling that it is
lot to get out that she is so ex-
cited about but a small thing like
getting married.
A young man in talking to Miss
Lena asked her if she had heard
about the woman with the basket.
He said that "Long ago the wo-
man went to the groceiy stole
with a purse full ot money and
came back with a basket full of
gsoceries. Now she goe.s to the
store with a basket full of money
and comes back with a purse full

Feeling pontic and not until c-
ly because of two literature
courses I just thought how true
it is that "a thing of beauty is a
jov forever." Originally we may
piesume that Natuie is the most
beautiful essence of God's erca-tivenes-s
but natuie is reflected
in so many things.
The rain we had last week was
a joy to manv people; the concert
bv the Philharmonics was a thing
of beauty to others. The impros-

life differently. One of the most
impressive things of beauty that
I have seen recently is the new Mc
Murry Chapel. The vast tower
and magnanamous purpose of
this memorial on the McMurry
Campus leaves an impression of
beauty greater than its physical
structure.
On a tour through the building
it revealed an organ taken from
the Heinz Hall of Music which is
m the process of being assembled.
