education major is a letterman
end and was top pass receiver for
the Wildcats in 1956. He missed
the 1958 football season because
of a broken leg in one of the last
1957 games.
SARA OWEN Vernon elemen-
tary education major is secretary
of Ko Jo Kai and has been voted
runner-up class favorite student
senator twice and McKinzie dorm
council member. She is also a
member of A Cappella CSO and
SEA.
JANIS PEEPLES. Raymond-
ville English major was especially
active in debate getting the ACC
"Oustanding Debater Award"
when a junior. She is secretary of
Alpha Chi and Pi Kappa Delta
honorary speech society and a
member of Sigma Tau Delta
"W" club and CSO.
LOURAINE PITTARD ele-
mentary education major from
Albuquerque N. M. was picked
most typical fish when a fresh-
man. She is GATA and senior
class secretary and a member of
Kappa Delta Pi Alpha Chi "W"
club and SEA.
DENNIS RENNER. English ma-
jor from Ferguson Iowa was edi-
tor of The Optimist his junior
year and vice president of the
Press club. He served as president
of Sigma Tau Delta reporter-historian
for the Frater Sodalis and
associate editor of the Alumni
News. He is also a member of the
Pickwickian club.
KEN SHOLLENBARGER. ac-
counting major from Colorado
Springs is treasurer for the Stu-
dents Association. He transferred
from the University of Colorado
has won the Intersocial club
council scholarship award and
has been a member of the Ed-
wards dorm council.
He is secretary of Frater Sodalis
and a member of B. A. club. At
Colorado he had won the En-
gineering AHumni award Wall
Street Journal award and was a
member of Associated Engineer-
ing students Amerclan Institute
of Architects junior chapter and
the Council of Greek Students.
DOUG SMITH. Syndcr is presi-
dent of the senior class and has
been secretary and president of
the Knights. He is vice president
of the Intersocial club council and
secretary-treasurer for the Sample
Case Sitters.
He also belongs to the Business
Administration club A Cappella
Chorus InPSYdors and the Ma-
bec dorm council.
DAVID STEWART. Bible ma-
jor from Oklahoma City Okla.
is president of both Alpha Chi
and Blue Key. He is chief justice
of the student court was vice
president of the Knights and per-
cussion section leader for the
Wildcat band three years.
