brought The Progress a stalk of
cotton this week that was 31 in-
ches in length. He says he has
two acres just as good, but the
balance of his crop of 18 acres
does not show so much growth,
but is of good color and thrifty.
100 Years of Methodism.
The great Methodist Centenary
drive is on for $120,000,000. In-
dications are that we have gone
over the top. Aransas Pass
will have gone over the top by the
end of the drive next Sunday
night. All Methodism will meet
in the churches next Sunday and
celebrate this great achievement.
We urge that every Methodist
in and near Aransas Pass meet at
the Methodist church next Sunday
at 11 o’clock for the purpose of
celebrating the achievements of
100 years of missionary activities,
and the raising of nearly 14,000
for the Centenary. All others are
cordially invited.
