"Let's Make hove' the story is
about the romances of a night
club entertainer.
The new musical comedy fea-
tures such tunes as "Let's Make
Love" "Incurably Romantic"
"Specialization" "Hey You With
The Crazy Eyes" "The Pop
Singer's Lament" and Cole Por-
ter's "My Heart Belongs to
Daddy."
The movie has an international
flavor with France's Montand as
a billionaire turned entertainer
to capture the affections of Miss
Monroe and England's Vaughan
as a song and dance man. Amer-
ica's Tony Randall also gets into
the' chase for MM.
"Let's Make Love" is the first
appearance in a full-length Amer-
ican film for both Montand and
Vaughan although both are well-
established stars in their own
countries and both have made
frequent television appearances
in this country."

Student Council and was vice-
president of the science project
club.
Louianne was a member of
Arlington Heights High School
speech club science club and
band. She also had experience
with the Fort Worth Opera Or-
chestra was Student Director of
the choir and the National Hon-
or Society. Miss Worley is a
freshman cheerleader.
Janice Hanson from Fort
Worth was elected as secretary
of the class. She served a"s secre-

Three Stooges Appear
In Slapstick Comedy
The Three Stooges return to
the screen in "Stop! Look I And
Laugh!" for a full-length (78
minutes)' motion picture of their
traditional slapstick comedy rou-
tines. .Theif latest film is now
showing at the Park Theater.
Aiding the Stooges Larry
Moe and Curly in the comedy
is Paul Winchell ventriloquist
and his two friends Jerry Ma-
honey and Knucklehead Smiff.
Also stealing a couple of scenes
are the Marquis Chimps 'dressed
as people.
The 'movie is based on stories
Paul Winchell tells his dummies.
The Stooges keep popping up in
the wild Western sequence the
trip to New York and the bull-
fight. ' . m
. After such regular appearances
by the three clowns it appears
that only Stooges inhabit the
world.
As always the Three Stpoges
are shown abusing one another
with everything from furniture
to chocolate cream pies.
Harry Romm who produced the
first full-length Stooge comedy
"Have Rocket Will Travel" also
produced their current picture.
Jules White directed the film.

mander of the Pershing Rifles at
the first meeting of the fall term
for the ROTC precision drill team
Monday.

Little-Big
Sister Tea
To Be Held
The Little Sister-Big Sister
Tea will be held in the lobby of
Behrens Hall Sunday Oct. 9 from
3 to 5 p. m.
This will reciprocate the Big
Sister-Little Sister Tea held two
weeks ago.
Behrens' dorm council is in
charge of the tea. Raynette Wood
of Hobbs New Mex. president;
and Joan Evans of Vernon and
Dixie Davis of San Antonio co-
social chairmen are making the
plans.
The receiving line will be
composed of the Misses Wood
Evans and Davis Alice Berk-
shire dean of women and Levia
Fugate assistant resident coun-
cilor of Behrens. Aileen Culpep-
per resident councilor of Behrens
will be serving.

long been an added attraction to
the white horse group.
The ridersT attired in white uni-
forms will carry the six flags

Ham both of Clyde and Brenda
Smith of Dallas. Miss Cox is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A.
Cox of Clyde. Miss Ham's parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ham of
Clyde. Miss Smith is the daughter
of Mrs. Eula Smith of Dallas.
Miss Phillips daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. M. A. Phillips of Bor-
ger is a 20-year-old junior at
H-SU. Miss Harrington 19 is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie
Harrington of Throckmorton and
is a sophomore. Miss Searcey
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
C. Griffith of Benjamin is 19 and
a sophomore. Nineteen-year-old
Miss Hyatt a junior is the daugh-
ter of Dr. and Mrs. A. J. Hyatt
of Richmond.

fall semester with the film "Mos-
cow Concert" showing the New
York Philharmonic Orchestra un-
der the direction of Leonard
Bernstein during its tourof Rus-
sia. The film will be shown Tues-
day Oct. 11 at 8 p. m. in the
recital hall of Caldwell Fine Arts
Building according to Dr. Wil-
liam S. Mathis dean of the school
of music. No admission will be
charged.
"Moscow Concert" was filmed
upon the request of the State
Department.
A 'similar film "Vienna Con-
cert" will be shown here Oct 25
Dr. Mathis said. The public is
welcomed to attend the showings
of both films.

Housewarming
A surprise housewarming for
Alice Berkshire dean of women
was given Monday night Oct. 3
by the girls in Hunter and South
Halls.
A committee composed of Gail

South; Betty Scott Graham so-
cial chairman of South; Mary Lou
Johnigan Ozona secretary of
South; Brenda Ford Fort Worth
president of Hunter; and Peggy
Mallow Abilene social chairman
of Hunter was in charge of the
housewarming.
Miss Berkshire was1 given a
rocking chair and a $15 gift cer-
tificate for her new apartment at
10 IV IN. 2UU1.
Twenty-six members of the
Hunter and South dorm councils
attended the housewarming. Re-
freshments were served by the
committee.
