Prior to the ceremony, Miss
Marilyn Graeber of Carmine,
sang “Because” and after the
ceremony “The Lord’s Pray-
er.” She was accompanied by
Mrs. Annette Hohlt of Bur-
ton, who also played the tradi-
tional wedding music.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Schulz of
Burton and Mr. and Mrs. Ed-
win Reuter of Round Top are
the parents of the groom.
For her wedding the bride
wore a white satin gown. The
fitted bodice was scalloped
with a yoke of lace. The long
fitted lace sleeves ended in
points over the hands. The
satin floor length skirt was
covered with net. Her head-
dress was a tiara of orange
blossoms and seed pearls, hold-
ing the fingertip veil. She car-

The bride and groom enter-
ed the church together.
Miss Floya Ann Schulz of
Burton, sister of the bride,
was maid of honor. Brides-
maid was Miss Corine Reuter
of Round Top, sister of the
groom. Her attendants wore
identical floor length gowns of I
American Beauty net over taf-
feta. They wore a headdress
rnd gloves of net Hnd carried
a bouquet of yellow chrysan-
themums.
Little Carolyn Wessels of
Rutersville, cousin of the
groom, was flower girl. She
wore a white gown identical
to the maid -mf honor and
bridesmaid. Little Marvin
Struck Jr. of Carmine, cousin
of the bride, was ring hearer.
Erwin Lee Schulz of Bren-
ham, cousin of the bride, was
best man. Virgil Bayer of
Burton, cousin of the bride,
was groomsman. Ushers were
August Pahmiyer of Brenham,
cousin of the bride, and Mel-
vin Schulze of Shelby, cousin
of the groom.
For her daughter’s wedding
Mrs. Schulz wbre navy with
matching accessories. Mrs
Reuter selected a grey dress
with matching accessories.
Both wore corsages of orchid
chrysanthemums. Mrs. Em-
ma Schulz of Carmine, grand-
mother of the bride, wore
navv crepe and Mrs. Martha
Michael of Rutersville, grand-
mother of the groom, wore
grey. Both wore corsages of
white chrysanthemums.
A reception' was held at the
La Bahia hall where a barbe-
cue supper was served. The
bride’s table was centered with
a three tiered embossed wed-
ding cake topped with a minia-
ture bride and groom under
an arch tied with white and
American Beauty satin bows.
Mrs. Eddie Arndt of Moul-
ton, cousin of the bride, baked
the wedding cake.
Miss Lucille Mueller of La
Grange cut the cake and Miss
Dolores Reuter of Rutersville
and' Miss Alice Bethke of Bur-
ton served the cake.
Miss Verna May Struck of
Carmine, cousin of the bride,
was in charge of the bride’s
book.
For her going away attire
the bride selected a dark grey I
tweed with matching acces- |
sories and a white carnation I
corsage. At the present they
are making their home at the
groom's parents near Round
Top.
