Collingsworth County Area Newspapers
The Collingsworth County Area Newspaper Collection documents the far-northern panhandle town of Wellington, Texas, as well as the wider county. The primary newspaper in this collection is the Wellington Leader, founded in 1909, when Collingsworth County was almost two-decades old and welcomed its first railroad, the Wichita Falls and Wellington Railroad.
