[Clipping and Tickets, October 1901]

Description: These are documents from the Charles B. Moore Collection. The documents include a clipping and two tickets. The clipping details that P. O'Reilly and W. L. McCormick were elected as alderman to fill the position in their respective wards. On the reverse side of the clipping is a marriage announcement for Linnet Moore and Claude White; the reason this clipping was cut and saved. The tickets were for travel on October 16, 1901 from Dallas to Denison for two passengers on a passenger car designed by the Pullman Company.

Description: Customer's draft for Claude D. White from Merchant's National Bank in Omaha, Nebraska. The draft is for the transfer of two hundred dollars to the Melissa State Bank in Melissa, Texas. The draft is dated August 19, 1909. The document has two stamps from the Melissa State Bank indicating that the sum of two hundred dollars was paid on August 20, 1909 and August 22, 1909.

[Death Notice for A. R. Franklin]

Description: Notice regarding the death of A. R. Franklin, who died November 23, 1906. The funeral was held November 24th at the grave side, officiated by Rev. R. M. DuBose; he was buried at Gallatin Cemetery in Gallatin, Tennessee. The notice also includes the list of pall bearers.

Description: Envelope addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Claude D. White and Mrs. Mary Moore. Mrs. White was the daughter of Mary and C. B. Moore. The letter was sent to Melissa, Texas (Melissa was crossed out) and then McKinney, Texas. It has been stamped, "Forwarded."
