Description: Two letters from Dr. Edwin D. Moten to his son Don Moten, on September 28, and October 2, 1943. In the second letter, Dr. Moten discusses treating young men who have to report to the army soon, and again mentions Don's money troubles.

[Denton City/County Library Bookmobile]

Description: Unidentified men stand in front of a Denton City/County Public Library bookmobile. Denton Public School buses are in the background. The picture was taken across from Congress Junior High School facing Alice Street. In 1938 the schools purchased a bookmobile to provide better library services to schools in the County. The Works Progress Administration funded the staff and maintenance of the bookmobile program.
