C. A. Williams House

Description: Exterior view of the C. A. Williams residence, "Goose Ranche" on "Quality Place." The house is a one-story frame with a picket fence. A woman and three children, all unidentified, are standing on the porch. "Goose Ranche" on "Quality Place" was a family joke, according to Alec Williams, great-grandson. The house was located on the south side of west Oak Street and was across the street from Will Williams' house. He never lived in it as an adult, but may have as a boy. Written in pencil on the back is "Mrs. Will Williams" which we presume to mean that the photograph belonged to Mrs. Will Williams.
