Description: Photograph probably of Mary Jones as a young girl. She is standing in the middle of snow covered yard surrounding my trees whose branches are bent under the weight of the ice on them. Mary is wearing a dark dress that falls at her knees, dark stockings, shoes and a dark hat. She is holding a baby doll in her right hand. A few sparse pieces of grass stick out of the snow. On the bottom of the photo, handwritten: "Dec 21 1924"

Description: Photograph of the Jodarski newborns with young Mary Jones. The photograph is titled "Mary Jones, my twin and I". In this outdoor photograph, two infants identified as Florine and Madeline Jodarski, who are wearing only diapers, are sitting on a blanket in the grass. Mary Jones, who is squatting down near the blanket, is wearing a print jumper with a shirt (rolled up short sleeves) beneath. Mr. Jones' car is seen in the upper left corner of the photograph. The photograph was taken in the Jodarski front yard. [The Jodarski's older sister played with Mary often, since they were about the same age.] Written on the back of the photograph and scanned as image 2000.067.001b: "Mary Jones - Madeline - 5 mos old - 1924 Born on Albert George Ranch - 2 story house." Mr. Jodarski was a tenant farmer on the George Ranch.

Description: Photograph of the George Ranch house. The house is a two story white wooden house. Three of the four brick chimneys are visible in this photo. The house is enclosed by a white wooden picket fence which in turn is enclosed by a wire fence. The house a porch on bottom and top floor, with the top floor porch being enclosed during this period. The cistern house seen to the left rear of the house, is unpainted and does not have a weather vane at top. The once shuttered windows are not shuttered in this photo. Partial view of a driveway extending from bottom left corner to bottom center. Several oak trees line the perimeter of the fence while other larger trees are seen to the right of the photo (back yard). Stamped in blue on back: Morris-Carter Photo Supply Co. 2119 P. O. Note in this photograph of the house, that the top porch is screened, the cistern house (to the left of the main house) is unpainted, the foul pens that once enclosed the white picket fence have been removed, and front driveway has been added. The portion of the house that is shown is the remodeled/expanded carport porte-cochere. Mrs. Davis, who wears glasses and has graying hair, is wearing a light colored ankle length dress with dark shoes. Mary is wearing a knee length dress with dark shoes and has a bonnet covering her head. Plants contained in plant stands, hanging baskets, and pots are seen in various locations on the porte-cochere. Description: Photograph of the Jodarski house. The home is a two story white wooden house with front porch that extends across the entire front. There are two potted plants on the left edge of the porch. Wooden steps lead to the porch and the front entrance. A dormer is located at the front center of the house. A chicken house can be seen on far right of the photograph. This photograph was taken shortly after the Jodarski's moved into the home in 1922. The house was located on 762. Written on the back of the photograph (scanned image 2000.067.005b): "Mom & Papa Jodarski moved into this house in 1922 on A. P. George Ranch Twins Madeline & Florine were born here in 1924 Rhydonia was born the next year in 1925." The Jodarskis tenant farmed on the George Ranch.

There is a white (with black markings) dog on far left. Stock pens in the background. Tree branches in top right corner. Printed on back of photo in purple: "Fox-Tone Print Fox Co. San Antonio, Tex." Part of the stamp is missing. Photograph was de-accessed 7-16-82 from the Fort Bend Museum and placed in the George Historical Park Collection.

Description: Photograph titled "Christmas 1921" as written in ink on right border of picture. Back of photograph identifies the woman and child as "Probably Belle Davis [and] Mary Jones". Davis, who has glasses and gray hair pulled into a bun at the nape of her neck, is wearing a white blouse and dark skirt. She has her back to the camera and she is facing the child that she is holding in her arms. The child, who has her thumb in her mouth, is wearing a long sleeved white gown. White balustrade just beyond Davis and Jones. White picket fence and trees in background. Photograph bears evidence that it was possibly glued into an album.

[Black photograph album]

Description: Black photograph album. The cover is textured cardboard which is bound together by a black fabric ribbon. The interior lining of the album cover and subsequent pages are of thick black paper. The album contains 19 photographs taken at a cookout at Camp George. Album contains eleven pages. Photographs adhere to front and back of pages; however, front and back of every page is not utilized, unless there are photographs missing or removed at an early date (no evidence through fading or gluing of any removals). Notation at inside front cover in white: "CAMP GEORGE [T-shaped pattern under each letter of those two words] FORT-BEND-COTX. FEB 22-1920." Below this inscription is an embossed marking: "H. H. Morris Galveston, Tex.". The album is 1 cm thick.
