Description: Photograph of the George Ranch house and yard, southeast approach. The two-story white wooden house has top and bottom porches, with the top porch screened in this photo. Note that no windows have shutters. The house is enclosed by a white wooden picket fence. The cistern house, in left rear of house is unpainted. There is a palm tree in left portion of yard. Large oak trees line the outer perimeter of the picket fence. Garage partially visible on far left. Driveway (appears to be covered with snow?) leads to veers to front of house and leads to garage. The photograph is bordered by a black pattern with "Fox Co." printed in top right and bottom left corners. Stamped on back of photo in blue: "8 178". [Envelope addressed to A.P. George Richmond, Texas]

Description: Envelope has the following penciled on front: " [return address] Box 96 Fulshear Tx [center] Pictures John Mayes (?) A. P. George Richmond, Texas [the following is printed on envelope front but was probably added after photos were discovered] Photos ca 1920s". The envelope has a red postage stamp embossed on envelope which is partially torn but reads: United States 2 cents. Envelope is torn along right edge (to retrieve contents). This envelope contained six photographs which are accessions 2000.026.001a-g.
