1891 Bunson Building Upper Front Detail

Description: Photograph of detail of the 1891 Charles Brunson building in down town Columbus, Texas. The building date is in the pediment near the center of the front of the building. The pediment is part of the metal cornice. The windows are framed by decorative brick pilasters and are capped with decorative metal caps. The wood window frames are arched at the top and sitting on a brick string course and ledger course. The adjoining building to the right was also built by Charles Brunson in 1896.

[1896 Rosenfield Building]

Description: Photograph of the 1896 Rosenfield building in the 1000 block of Milam Street in downtown Columbus, Texas. A Texas Historical Commission marker is on the right. The building's lower front blends in with the buildings on both sides. The sign reads, "Little of This-Little of That," and the window display indicates gifts and collectables.

1891 Brunson Building Lower Front

Description: Photograph of lower front of the 1891 Brunson Building, currently occupied by the Live Oak Art Center, in downtown Columbus, Texas. The front is decorated in Victorian style with decorated steel columns and wooden Victorian style windows. The upper windows are sitting on a steel ledger course, which is sitting on the top of the columns under the brick lintel.
