Johnson County and Cleburne Area Newspapers
The Johnson County and Cleburne Area Newspaper Collection represents this north Texas railroad community and its wider county over the past 120 years. While there have been numerous newspapers in Cleburne and Johnson County, the Cleburne Times Review has the longest history and is the county newspaper of record. The Cleburne Morning Review began as a daily newspaper in 1905 and continued publication until 1933. In January 1934, the paper became the Cleburne Times Review and is still published six days a week. These newspapers communicate the cultural, educational, moral, and political development of Cleburne and the surrounding county.
