A tugboat, the J.W. Terry of Galveston, can be seen in the lower right of the photograph near the dock warehouses. Products can be seen on the dock, and at least four dockworkers are visible in front of the warehouses. Farther down this wharf are two other ships. On the left side of the picture, a large cago ship is docked. Down the dock on this side, at least two other ships can be seen. On the bottom of the picture in cursive writing is written: "Texas City Aug 19th 1915 - Two days after the storm." In the right hand corner of the picture, "Naschke Galveston" is embossed.
Richard Wyatt going across the levee North of Henrietta on a ferry pulled by horses to his farm where Mrs. Wyatt was. This was taken a foot of hill just out of town. The fringe of trees in the distance marks the slough. This was taken after the water had receded considerably, as you can see by the drift on the fence at left.

Col. Hugh B. Moore, dressed in a long-sleeved white shirt, suit vest and bow tie, sits at a large table-like desk. On the desk is a blotter, wire basket, several books and stacks of paper. Behind him is a dark roll-top desk with a telephone on it, and a coat-rack with a dark suit jacket. Blinds cover most of the four windows in the office. On the back of the photograph is written: "Jany 1 1915 Col. H. B. Moore".
Mr. Diffey, wearing a vest, is seated behind the desk in the lobby at Diffey's Hotel. Behind him are cigars for sale, a clock, calendar, and thermometer.
Looking west across the flooded Denver River in Henrietta, TX. On June 12, 1915, Mr. and Mrs. Carl M. Worsham walked this railroad track about 9 PM without lights. The water had gone down some but it was a dangerous journey for a man, let alone a woman. They had to feel their way along the track. This was the night that Mr. W.A. Warsham passed away.
People gathered on the square in Henrietta, TX for Henrietta Trades Day in 1915. Included int he picture are: Harry White, Henry Allen, and Tom Neldin. The Clay County Courthouse is in the background.
