Description: An aerial photo looking straight down on the HemisFair site before it opened. The roofs of the circular United States Exhibit Pavilion and of the Confluence Theater are visible right of center. The roof of the Texas Pavilion is in the back middle ground, and the roofs of the Convention Center, Theater, and Arena buildings are visible just to the left of the photo center. Squarely in the center of the photograph only the top of the Tower of the Americas is visible with the tower itself casting a long shadow. A San Antonio public housing development is visible across the highway from the Texas Pavilion.
