[82 Field Artillery]

Description: Photograph of the 82nd field artillery marching by the Masonic Hospital. In the photograph are soldiers dressed in uniform; they are riding horses and walking with heavy weaponry. The Masonic Hospital stands in the background. Before becoming the Masonic Hospital, the hospital was known as the Rolston Hospital located at 918 N Pieras Street, corner of Montana Avenue in central El Paso. The hospital was bought by the Masons in 1923 and renamed the Masonic Hospital in that same year.

[Construction of Pontoon Bridge]

Description: Photograph of a pontoon bridge being constructed across the Rio Grande near present day Ascarate Park (lower valley of El Paso) in June 1919. This photo was taken around the last Battle of Juarez (June 15-16, 1919). Soldiers can be seen maneuvering pontoons in the Rio Grande toward the bridge site.
